The geocell dimensions and depth selection depend on the slope angle/degree, height of the structure, and type of infill material. For slopes up to 30–35 degrees, grades 35/10 and 35/15 are generally recommended. For slopes between 35 and 45 degrees, grades 25/15 and 22/20 are commonly used. The cells can be filled with suitable soil to support vegetation such as grass and small shrubs. For greater erosion protection, granular infill can be used.
